Feedback Weekend

Mariners Farm Review is now three weeks old, and frankly, I couldn’t be more thrilled with how things have gone.  The readership and support so far has been fantastic, and continues to far exceed any expectations I had going in.  For that, I think each and every one of you.

I want to continue to grow and improve this site, and do that end, I do have several things in mind to do just that.  However, I also want to make sure that you guys are happy with things and are getting what you want, so to that end, I need your help, and your feedback.

What do you, the readers, want to see?  Any changes?  Feature requests? Other thoughts?  Hit up the comments to leave your thoughts, or you can e-mail me as well if you’d rather share your ideas out of the public eye.

  1. So far this site gets a check ++ with a smiley face.

  2. Great site, good info, I can’t get enough of this stuff. Not much to offer as far as feedback…I guess I’m not a big fan of the background color…

    • Don’t like the color, eh? Eventually, I plan on getting a real, designed background, but for now I have to keep it simple. Didn’t want white, so grabbed a color that didn’t strike me as awful. What sort of color would you rather see?

  3. Very much enjoy this site

  4. How about predictions on midyear promotions. Hopefully Franklin goes to AA

    • I am planning on doing that after a month or so of the season, but at this point it’s far too soon to make any sorts of predictions with any sort of reliability.

  5. Dave Patterson

    Great start. Keep it up

  6. Conor, I’ve been amazed at the sheer volume of content you’ve been churning out & the quality hasn’t suffered. The only things I would like to see more of is statistical analysis & video so we can see mechanics that back up scouting reports. Considering the season is young, I figured the stats would wait till they’re not just small sample size & the video is also harder to come by & would take time to integrate. All in good time. Definitely more Q&A sessions. The Rivers piece was a great read. Thanks for all the work, I read every piece.

    • Thank you kindly, Lailo.

You hit the nail on the head; it’s a bit early yet to do much with stats. While I’m no Dave Cameron or Matt Klaasen or Graham MacAree, I will be doing what I can with stats around here (though the availability is of minor league stats will make it hard to be as detailed as I might like).

I do have some video stored up from last year, and will be getting more as I can. I’ve been having some conversations with people that live around the teams I can’t get to myself, so hopefully I can get good video of some of those guys as well.

Hopefully I can keep up the rate I’ve been at… it’s been a fun ride so far.
